Bijoux Designs by Tammy McCormick

Where jewelry, art and Catholic faith collide.

The artist's story...

I am foremost a wife and mother, a stepmother AND a step-grandmother. Bijoux Designs started simply – I began designing and creating gifts for my family and friends and they wanted pieces for their family and friends. I’m blessed enough to be able to do what I love and also have a family that supports me.

I am lead by a constant curiosity, a love of beautiful things, and finding a way to capture moments and memories. I began by experimenting with different jewelry techniques and processes and I still allow myself the room for trial and error – for me it’s an important part of the process and I love many of the unconventional results. Each piece I design is a step on the journey, who knows where it will lead…

Tammy handcrafts each piece out of precious liquid metals: fine silver and 22K gold detail, using a multi-step metal clay process. For each piece, she creates a unique photopolymer hand stamped mold out of fine silver clay; she then hand fires it and finally, polishes it with love and prayer!

Crossroads Collective is thrilled to have partnered with Tammy in creating the exclusive Caritas Collection!

The Caritas Collection from Bijoux Designs by Tammy McCormick is exclusive to Crossroads Collective and is created from medals found in a Belgian Convent. These one of a kind pieces are painted with precious liquid metals and hand stamped in Lafayette, Louisiana to create a meaningful gift that will be treasured for years to come.
