Nativity Set Miniature Saint Statue - 3-Piece set

Nativity Set Mary Joseph and Baby Jesus In the city of Bethlehem, in the reign of Caesar Augustus, Mary gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger, “because there was no room for them in the inn” — the King of Heaven welcomed into the world in the humblest of places, with Joseph keeping watch and Wise Men from distant lands kneeling to adore him. Eight centuries ago, Saint Francis of Assisi recreated this scene at Greccio so the faithful could kneel beside the manger themselves. From that first crèche comes every Nativity set that gathers a family around the wonder of Christmas night. The Nativity reminds us that the God of all creation chose to enter the world as a child — small enough to be cradled, close enough to be loved. Feast Day: December 25 | The Nativity of the Lord Read more about The Nativity, Saint Francis and the first crèche at Greccio, and why families gather around the manger → WHAT MAKES THIS SPECIAL This statue is hand-designed by Little Drops of Water and hand-painted in fine resin. The scene gathers the Holy Family around the manger — Mary and Joseph keeping watch over the newborn Child, with the Wise Men come from distant lands to adore him. Sized to fit on a nightstand, a bookshelf, a desk at work, or the quiet corner of a home altar. Every Miniature Saint Statue from Little Drops of Water is finished by hand, which means each piece carries small variations in shading and brushwork — the mark of real craftsmanship, not mass production. A REFLECTION On the first Christmas night, the King of Heaven was laid in a manger because there was no room in the inn — God himself, small enough to be cradled. Saint Francis built the first crèche so the faithful could kneel beside it; every Nativity set since gathers a family around that same wonder. To set it out is to make room, year after year, for the Child who came to be loved.
