Though he was passionate and devoted to Jesus, Peter was also impulsive - he cut off a soldier's ear defending Jesus, then denied knowing Christ three times during the crucifixion. But Jesus forgave him completely and made him the first Pope, saying "You are Peter (the rock), and on this rock I will build my Church." Peter went from denier to martyr, eventually being crucified upside down in Rome, feeling unworthy to die the same way as his Lord. Reflection: How can Saint Peter's transformation from impulsive, mistake-prone fisherman to courageous Church leader give you hope that God can use your weaknesses and failures for His glory? Care Instructions: Just dust gently with a soft cloth when needed. Designed with love by Little Drops of Water® - bringing faith into American homes. Not a toy - intended for ages 12+ for devotiona
