This prayer card includes the traditional Infant of Prague Novena Prayer, whose intercession is often asked for urgent needs, miracles, newborns and especially for help when facing financial difficulties.
About the Design:
The artwork on the front of the card is of the Infant of Prague, a wax statue of the Child Jesus given to a Carmelite monastery in Prague in the mid-17th century. After being lost during war, it was found in the ruins of the monastery. A devout priest, Fr. Cyril, heard through prayer to have the broken hands of the statue repaired. After multiple occasions where money was miraculously received to repair it, only to be directed to other expenditures, the statue was finally repaired, with its own chapel dedicated on the feast of the Holy Name of Jesus in 1644.
The back of the card has the traditional Infant of Prague Novena Prayer, with an image of a globus cruciger which he holds, representing Christ's dominion over the world.

From a young age, St. Rose 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥 multiple times a week. She wore a 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘴 inside to remind her of Jesus’s crown of thorns and to pray throughout the day. St. Rose 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱.
While her earthly life was filled with suffering, her heavenly life has to be 𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩. That is why here, she is depicted in bright colors; in an attempt to capture how brightly she is shining from Heaven.

One phrase that Mother Teresa held close in her heart was - "I Thirst". She recommended this phrase, spoken by Christ on the cross, to her community as a way to meditate on Christ's personal love for each of us.

His intercession is asked for because of the miraculous cure of his cancerous leg after praying in front of an image of Christ crucified. Even in his own lifetime, many were healed through his intercession, and he continues to be called “the Wonder-Worker” even today, more than 600 years later.

In March 2018, Catholic Charities of Acadiana made the decision not to turn anyone away who came to us for shelter, regardless of our bed capacity. We offered blankets and mats for them to sleep on our shelter floor. We committed to make room at our inn for Christ. It was simply the right thing to do.
Since that day, we have welcomed an additional 40+ people over capacity each night into our downtown shelter.
Help us ensure the viability of our sheltering program for the next year by making a gift now.

Our Return Policy for Refunds or Exchanges
Returns for refund or exchange of unused, full priced and non-seasonal items are accepted within 30 days of purchase with original packaging and receipt. Items bought as a Christmas gift can be returned through January 15th.
Items cannot be returned if purchased on sale. Items cannot be returned if purchased at full price but on sale at the time of return. Items cannot be returned if used, opened, damaged, without original packaging or without a receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Store credit may be offered in certain situations.
