This prayer card includes a traditional prayer asking the intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, a Marian apparition that occurred in 1531 near Mexico City. The Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to St. Juan Diego, and asked him to tell the bishop to build a church. He followed her direction and went to the bishop, who asked for proof that the Blessed Mother had spoken to him. She appeared to him again and told him to go the hill where they first met, where he unexpectedly found roses He gathered them in his tilma (cloak) and took them to the bishop as proof of her request. The History of the Detente
•A detente is a fabric holy card used for reflection in prayer.
•Long before the printing press, Christians made hand-held holy cards on pieces of paper, or embroidered on fabric. Most commonly, an image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus or the Immaculate Heart of Mary was drawn or embroidered, & then enthroned somehow with an ornate frame or beading. Rebuilding Together serves many parishes in Acadiana by providing home repairs and renovations for households who are unable to make necessary improvements to their homes due to financial hardship, age, and/or disability.
Rebuilding Together utilizes volunteers to assist in many work projects each year.

His family held him captive to prevent him from entering, and sent a prostitute whom Thomas drove away with a flaming torch. An advocate for those trying to remain chaste or celibate, he was finally given his family's blessing.
He became one of the greatest philosophers of the Church, whose writings are the basis for much of our theology today. As a tribute to the sweet and divinely inspired words of the Angelic Doctor, this bright coffee begins with notes of lemongrass, and features a floral-forward, wildflower honey flavor. Monday - Thursday will be available the following day.
Friday - Sunday will typically be available on Monday.
Monday - Friday before 12pm may be available the same day.

Yes, we do accept returns in store for items purchased online!
Our Return Policy for Refunds or Exchanges
Returns for refund or exchange of unused, full priced and non-seasonal items are accepted within 30 days of purchase with original packaging and receipt. Items bought as a Christmas gift can be returned through January 15th.
Items cannot be returned if purchased on sale. Items cannot be returned if purchased at full price but on sale at the time of return. Items cannot be returned if used, opened, damaged, without original packaging or without a receipt. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Store credit may be offered in certain situations.
Several items cannot be returned, including but not limited to seasonal items, gift cards, monthly magazines, lotions, soaps, cologne, perfume, antiques, digital products for download, among others. Please inquire for more detail.

Process for Items Purchased Online
Items purchased online may be returned in store or shipped with a return approval. Please submit a request to return items for a refund or exchange by coming in, contacting us or calling 337-988-3569.
If an item is shipped back to us without prior approval, we will inspect the item and send an email notifying you of the approval or rejection of your return.
You will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless there is an error that falls under the responsibility of Crossroads Collective. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Online Order Returns for Refund: If your request for a return is approved, we will process a refund, less the shipping costs, with a credit automatically applied to your original method of payment. This can take up to 15 business days to fully process.
Online Order Returns for Exchange: If your request for an exchange is approved, we will work with you to process the exchange and price difference. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

About the Design:
The watercolor on this card is the Holy Spirit who is often represented by a dove. This is how the Holy Spirit was revealed to us in scripture in Matthew 3:16 when Jesus was being baptized. The inside artwork has the second way the Holy Spirit is depicted in scripture - as a flame. The verse from Isaiah 11:2-3 lists the seven gifts that the Holy Spirit pours out: wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord. These sanctifying gifts “complete and perfect” our virtues and make us “docile in readily obeying divine inspiration” (CCC 1831).
